6 Reasons To Love The Dyson V8 Absolute

This blog is sponsored by Dyson but like always all opinions and thoughts are my very own.

I have two culprits that contribute to my home looking like a wreck. Meet my son Christian and giant fuzzball Maine Coon Cat, Ruben. Between the two of them I feel like I am always vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning baseboards and picking Cheerios out of my car. Let me correct that, between the two of them I AM always vacuuming, sweeping, and cleaning everything.

I use about four different things to get my house clean. Our giant heavy vacuum that I use on our rugs and couches, the broom for the wood floors, the swiffer to catch any loose animal hair that didn't stick to the broom and the wash rag to get the grossness from the corners of the stairs. Oh and a lint roller to get the fur off of the couch. I know. It's exhausting!

But so long are the days of wearing myself out dragging a vacuum up and down stairs and using a million different things to get my house decently clean.

I was gifted a Dyson V8 Absolute to review and have been using it for two weeks to really give you the best review I can.

And all I can really say is that it is AMAZING.

Cleaning is no longer tedious but is fun. I probably use it at least two to four times every day.

It has become the only cleaning tool I need.

1. It's a stick vacuum

This means that I can get every dust bunny from under the bed and the couch without moving the furniture. Game changer.

2. It is cord free

My son loves it when I vacuum. He either wants to help push my old one, which is cute, or play with the cord which is not cute and very dangerous. With the Dyson V8 he can help mommy, but I don't have to worry about him messing with the cord and outlet.

3. It's lightweight.

It weighs less than 5 lbs which means I don't have to lug a heavy vacuum up and down stairs. And when my son just has to be in my arms while I'm vacuuming, well that's fine, because I can lift him and vacuum with ease.

4. The ball.

I know that the ball technology is one of the things that is so revolutionary about Dyson, but that's because it should be. The ball allows for the head of the vacuum to swivel and maneuver in hard to reach places making cleaning a breeze.

5. It can go from high to low.

The Dyson V8 Absolute has several different heads that can transform the vacuum from a floor vacuum to a handheld one that can get every cheerio out of the car to one that can reach every spiderweb or yucky dust that has built up on our molding.

6. The docking station.

It's just a place to park the Dyson and the accessories so that your tiny 103 year old pantry is not overcrowded with a huge vacuum, and well it's such a simple storage solution that it's become one of my favorite things about it.

There is so much to love about the Dyson V8 Absolute.

I would equate it to having children. You don't know how awesome it is until you have one.

It is seriously my favorite thing I own and I am now a Dyson convert. My husband and I love it so much that we plan on gifting one to my husbands mom for mother's day. And if you are reading this and know her you better not tell her.

They are a bit pricey, which is why I have never purchased one. But now that I know how great they are I completely understand the price. The time I save from using one tool to vacuum, sweep, dust and clean my car is worth every penny.
