People Before Profits: Aventura Clothing

If you know anything about me, then you know that I have worked for years with disadvantage families and children. And there is nothing more that I hope to do than to teach my son to be a compassionate individual.
In all that I do and say, I hope it will reflect that compassion. Even in my clothing choice.
And that is why I am so excited to introduce to you a great fashion line that is not only cute and comfortable, but is doing good.
Meet Aventura and Ecoths clothing.
Aventura is the women's line and Ecoth's the men's line of a family owned and operated business that is proud to use organic and sustainable materials in all of its clothing. And let me tell you, there is a noticeable difference. My clothes from their spring collection were so soft and breathable.
The clothes were also versatile. I was able to chase a toddler around in sandals and then go on a date with my husband by adding a wedge to my dresses. Not only were the clothes versatile but they were timeless. My black dress and embroidered top is something that I will wear for years and have gotten compliments on from all age groups, from my younger sister-in law to her mother. (That's when you know you have a good design!)
Aventura has teamed up with a program called Uncommon Threads who provide clothing for women affected by domestic violence. Each quarter Aventura donates clothing to Uncommon Threads to be given to women so that they can feel empowered and return to the work force looking professional and polished.
And the guys clothing line, Ecoths, is doing good also. The men's clothing line have partnered with World Hunger and for every garment that is purchased a minimum of 3 meals are donated to those in need. Many of these families rely on federal or local subsidies for food. Very much like my family did.
So far they have been able to donate over 20,000 meals to those in need.
With a great design, clothing that is sustainable and a business that has a compassionate heart for those who are disadvantaged and marginalized, this is a company that I whole-heartedly stand behind and will encourage anyone to shop at.
