How to have the best girls weekend in Nashville, Tennessee.

Hey mama. I see you over there. Doing the same thing every single day. Keeping the routine to keep your kids happy. Wake the babies, feed, play, maybe run that one errand, dinner, bath and bed.
Do it again tomorrow and the next day and the next day.
Your exhausted.
Forgetting a bit of who you are. It's time to step back and take that girls trip. I finally got to do this after to years of saying I would and I am so glad I did. It was good for me and it was good for my family.

1.Where to Stay
The Waverly
The Waverly is located in one of the most popular neighborhoods called 12 South. It is just steps away from Five Daughters Bakery, BarTaco and Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James. And for those wanting to honky tonk, it is just a short Uber to Whiskey Row. It is the ideal location for anyone who wants to get away for the weekend and really experience Nashville.
The Waverly is like no other place I have ever stayed at. There are seven penthouse 2 bedroom 2 bath units that a group can rent out for a bachelor/bachelorette weekend which would sleep over 16 guest or you could rent out a unit. The units have been designed so tastefully with industrial elements such as exposed duct work and beautiful hanging lights to the large wall of modern windows that let in the most amazing amount of light in the open concept living/kitchen area.
The Waverly is definitely the perfect place to stay in Nashville for a quick girls trip, family vacation or weekend getaway.

2.Where to Eat
BarTaco
If you stay at The Waverly you’ll be a short walk to Bartaco. A perfect spot to have dinner and kickoff the evening. The place is vibrant full of people and delicious smells. The Baja taco and glazed pork belly were amazing but the real shining star were the street corn fritters. Holy deliciousness and I don’t even like corn. Of course you can’t get tacos and no guacamole. And you should leave enough room to try the churros. Delicious little clouds of sugar with a dipping chocolate has me salivating as I type this.
Tansuo
Tansuo is the perfect brunch spot for the day after good honky tonk evening and is seriously so cool. I had never been to a dim sum restaurant that brings the food to you to select off the cart, which is so fun and dangerous because I think we selected every single item off the carts. My favorite were definitely the Kung Pao cauliflower, lamb dumplings, and the crab stuffed shrimp ragoon. Pair it with the bottomless mango mimosa and you have one happy camper.

Five Daughters Bakery
Five Daughters is a donut shop just around the corner to The Waverly. The owners of The Waverly were so nice and left us a box of these for us. They were so amazing that I had to buy my boys some. The house that this shop is located in is so cute with an adorable outdoor play area for kids. The donuts weren’t dense donuts at all and were light and fluffy and stuffed with magic. My favorite was the cinannomon crispy crunch.

3.Where to Play
Whiskey Row
My favorite places to play on Whiskey Row were Jason Aldeans and Dierk Bentley's. Good drinks, good music, and not as crowded as a lot of the places on Whiskey Row.
4.Where to Shop
Draper James.
Have you heard of it? It is the southern inspired clothing shop dreamed up by Reese Witherspoon. The boutique style clothing shop has classic southern inspired pieces that fit every body type from size 0 to 24. Plus the shop is an instagram dream with some of the cutest murals painted on the side of the building. Check out all of your cute outfits below and shop HERE.
